At Nexus we use a couple of different online Learning Platforms, the main ones being Seesaw in Primary and Canvas in Secondary. These platforms provide an integrated set of interactive online services that provide teachers, learners, parents and others involved in learning with information, tools and resources to support and enhance educational delivery and management.

Seesaw is our Primary School Learning Platform. It connects parents with learning both in school and at home. Children are able to share their learning on this platform providing a holistic dialogue between parent, teacher and child.
You can download the Seesaw app on a variety of devices, please follow the guide here. Please load the Family app (the Class app is for learners and teachers). Your child’s teacher will send you a personalised QR code for your child at the start of term.

Canvas - Secondary School
Canvas - Secondary School
Canvas is our Secondary School Learning Plaform. Teachers will post resources and home learning on Canvas and encourage learners to discuss and share their projects and to reflect on their learning. Parents get a view of Canvas that allows them to see their child’s home learning and deadlines. Canvas is available both through a web browser and a mobile app.
